Colette is the perfect client and a punk rock dream girl! She's a Vermont-based wedding photographer who has documented her clients' stories and traditions for nearly two decades. Colette is a full-service photographer deeply committed to the quality of her craft, providing high-end images and heirloom-quality printed products. Colette gave me this brief: "Rebrand me, Sheena Laine Honeycutt!" (Yes, she always uses my full name whenever she addresses me, and I absolutely adore it). We've worked collaboratively on each piece I designed for her, ensuring that the design suits her personality, photography, and worldview. The results of our collaboration are stunning, if I do say so myself. The design and photography are a perfect pairing that elevates each other. It's hard to imagine them existing separately. This is a beautiful example of how design and branding can exalt a brand and its products.

The 1990s fashion editorials in Vogue are the central inspiration for Colette Kulig Photography's visual identity. This visual system exists in a world where cheeky, cinematic, and irreverent can meet sophisticated, elevated, high fashion, and everyone is having a great time. It's classic but modern; it's fashion but it's punk.

The branding incorporates a dramatic and limited color palette, dynamic typography, outrageous juxtapositions of scale, and striking, romantic imagery to create an aspirational dream world for her clients. This visual system glorifies negative space, relies on grids and structured linear systems to organize information, and creates interest by layering photographs and design elements, encouraging the viewer to explore all visual dimensions.

Colette's ongoing project encompasses the basics, including a comprehensive branding suite and website. Still, it expands infinitely to include social media templates, printed promotional items, client onboarding documents, service and pricing guides, quarterly newsletter templates, and an annual, self-published 80-page magazine to aid clients in planning their upcoming weddings.

This project is a dream come true, and I am honored to have Colette's trust and to watch her business grow and thrive!
